After recently reuniting Tornado's tender frame with the wheel sets, the tender tank was lifted onto the frames. The tender will now receive its top coats of paint ahead of fitting out with ETCS equipment.
Tornado's support coach, No. 21249, moved from the GCR to Nemesis Rail a few weeks ago for a bogie swap. Hopefully once the music stops it will be sitting on a pair of newly refurbished bogies!
