For just £35 a year, membership of the Tornado Team makes a wonderful birthday or Christmas gift for any young Tornado fan. More than that it offers children the chance to become part of something truly special: the story of Britian’s most remarkable steam locomotives.
At the A1 Steam Locomotive trust, we know that the future of Tornado lies in the hands of today’s younger generation. Through the Tornado Team, we hope to inspire a lifelong love of steam, heling children develop an understanding of the engine and the important role it plays in our railway heritage.
By joining, they become part of a community of young enthusiasts who may one day help care for and champion Tornado themselves.

The Tornado Team is split into two groups ages 5-10 and 11-17, New members will receive a welcome gift when they join. Other Benefits include:
- Newsletters twice a year to which Tornado Team members are encouraged to contribute their stories, pictures and questions.
- A birthday message from Tornado.
- Tornado Team events where members will have exclusive access to the engine and the people who look after it.
